The Launch of Brian Kerr's Photography Canvas Prints
Brian Kerr is the latest artist to feature with his own collection in our expanding portfolio of impressive online galleries. Interestingly, as well as his marvellous work depicting the British landscape to stunning effect - Brian also specialises in capturing prehistoric sites. This mixture of beautiful skies and the country's earliest art forms are combined to create an evocative statement on the small moment in history that we occupy.
Much of his work shows the landscape of Northern England and Scotland, visiting the wild countryside with a new and inspirational light. And his interest in rock art has seen his work used by English Heritage and The Guardian (link), as he travels the country visiting these special sites to create images that conjure up their mystical atmosphere.
We are delighted to showcase this work, selecting here a number of out favourite photography canvas prints from Brian. His full collection can be viewed by clicking the image below.
1) Callanish - Photography Canvas Print - From £50 - On the remote Isle of Lewis, we can only wonder what the ancients were thinking when they erected this majestic circle of stones. This atmospheric canvas print captures the moment at dusk, as a threatening sky looms overhead.
2) Cairnsmore Sunset - Photography Canvas Print - From £50 - Here Brian has returned to his native Scottish Lowlands to portray the rich copper hues that are cast upon the wild moors by a fading sun.
3) Holy Island Driftwood - Photography Canvas Print - From £50 - Amid a sea of Northumberland sand, close to the birthplace of Christianity in Britain, a worn, warped piece of driftwood sits beneath a stunning, looming cloudbank.
