Our Quality Statement
At espiritoart we're very conscious you need to be confident that your canvas art print or commission will not only look great, but will be premium quality and made to last. What you buy is exactly what we have in our own homes, and what we use when exhibiting in commercial art galleries. There's no cost-cutting involved - we want your contemporary print to stand the test of time in both quality and style.

Canvas & Inks
Our canvas prints are produced using the latest Epsom inkjet printing technology. We use UV inks designed to refract the damaging elements of light on the colour fastness of your artwork. Whilst its not a great idea to take your canvas art to the beach with you when sunbathing, with limited exposure to natural sunlight, you should comfortably see the colours maintain their fastness for years and years to come!
One thing to remember when selecting your artwork is that colours can vary depending on the settings of your monitor. This is rarely a problem, as brown is brown and blue is blue, but if there's a specific colour match you're after, its a good idea to check your monitor is displaying colours as they appear in real life. This can be acheived by using a free software tool called QuickGamma, useful for your peace of mind. If you're unsure, please don't worry about contacting us for further advice, or even send us a photo of where your canvas art print will be hung and we'll give you our (honest!) opinion.
The canvas itself has a matt finish, with a fine weave which achieves a balance between displaying all the detail of your contemporary art whilst maintaining that distinctive canvas texture.

The Frame
All of our prints are supplied ready-streched over a premium quality wooden frame. The canvas is hand stretched expertly over the frame, achieving the perfect tension, before being stapled into place on the reverse. Whilst unlikely, if over time there is some slight slackening in the canvas, our frames are supplied with wedges that simply require a little tap to get it taught again.
The wood used is kiln dried and assembled by us to your required size using traditional mitred joints.
Our frames are supplied with a thickness of 38mm as standard to give a chunky finish, although we can also supply frames at 18mm if you contact us at the time of your order. While we like them as they are, it is perfectly possible for your local picture framer to add a traditional frame, just like a traditional painting.

Packaging and Delivery
We'll gladly tell you all day long about our design and canvas framing experience, but we can't confess to being experts on packaging - which is why we outsource packaging and delivery to a specialist mailing house. We specialise at what we're best at, with our packaging partner taking care of safely and securely wrapping your canvas art ready for delivery.
UK delivery is £10, whatever the size or number of items you order. If your order costs more to pack and ship to you (which it often will), we'll glady pick up the tab for the difference.
As our canvas giclee prints are stretched by hand, it can take 7-10 days from your payment clearing to delivery, but we aim to beat this timescale in 90% of cases. If you have any special requirements and need your artwork faster, let us know and we'll tell you if we can accomodate your request as soon as we can.
